One person died last night when their mini-van struck a semi on Highway #11 in Roseau County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 42 year old Jack Dahl died at the scene of the accident after the vehicle he was driving crossed into the path of the Semi-Truck in Jadis Township.

The driver of the semi, 52 year old Todd Harris of Alexandria, was taken to Life Care Medical Center in Roseau with injuries officers at the scene described as non-life threatening.

State Troopers say the Dahl vehicle, a Dodge Caravan – was east bound, the “Semi-Truck” west bound, when the Caravan crossed into the west bound lane crashing into the on-coming tractor/trailer rig.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident, reported last night just before 9pm. Officers say alcohol was *not* a factor in the accident.
